We repair small cuts and holes from the inside by gluing a piece of leather underneath across the cut and pull the surface as close together as possible. We use a leather filler to smooth out any surface inconsistency. We then mix a quantity of leather dyes to colour match the existing colour and tint the affected area. We usually tint the entire lean back or tint the conditioner we apply when repairing a seat. Leather repair is a craft and profession. The dyes and compounds we use are top quality and are made to last. Giving you a lasting leather seat repair, and comfort knowing you have a leather repair that will last and look great for years to come. We do not carry out this process for tears along the stitching. This would require the expertise of an upholsterer.

Superficial cracking can be avoided by regular cleaning and conditioning. However if cracking has started it must be addressed before the cracks go right through the leather which will then have to be replaced. This cracking was restored by deep cleaning, using leather filler and then tinting and finishing off with quality conditioner & protection and completed with a top coat sealant.
